Sweet Valentine Decadent Chocolate Cake



1 ¾ cups all-purpose flour
3/4 cup cocoa, unsweetened
1 ½ tsp baking soda
1 ¾ cups sugar
1 tsp salt
1/4 cup milk
2/3 cup butter, softened
1 ½ cup sour cream
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla

  1. Preheat oven to 350°

  2. Prepare your bundt pan by greasing and powdering it with cocoa.

  3. In a large mixing bowl combine all the dry ingredients well.

  4. Add the rest of the ingredients. Using a hand mixer blend on low speed then increase speed to medium and mix for approximately 3 minutes. 

  5. Pour the batter into your grease bundt pan and bake for 60 to 65 minutes or until cake tests done. 

  6. Cool on a wire rack. When cake is completely cool, drizzle with chocolate glaze (see below) or dust with confectioners’ sugar and garnish with fresh fruit. 



1 can (14oz) sweetened condensed milk
1 tbsp butter
1 cup chocolate chips
1 tsp vanilla

  1. Melt the butter in a medium saucepan over low heat.

  2. Add the condensed milk and the chocolate chips. Constantly stir the mixture until the chocolate chips have melted and everything is well blended. Do not allow the mixture to come to a boil.

  3. Remove from heat and mix in the vanilla.

  4. Allow the glaze to cool slightly. 

  5. Drizzle over the top of your inverted bundt cake.
