Decadent Pecan Pie


1 cup corn syrup (light or dark)
3 eggs
1 cup granulated sugar
2 tbsps melted butter
1 tsp pure vanilla extract
1½ cups pecans
1 unbaked (9 inch)
    deep dish pie crust

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.

  2. For the filling, combine the corn syrup, eggs, sugar, butter and vanilla extract in a medium mixing bowl. Mix using a spoon. Stir in the pecans and then pour into the pie crust.

  3. Bake for 60 to 70 minutes on center rack.

  4. Before serving, cool on a wire rack for at least 2 hours.
